Paradise Valley Silver Trowel #29, F&AM can trace it’s roots back as far as 1922 when the original Silver Trowel Lodge #29 was chartered at it’s location in downtown Phoenix. Silver Trowel operated in the downtown location for 78 years producing seven Grand Masters until it’s merger with Paradise Valley #61.
Paradise Valley #61, F&AM was chartered in 1961 and built the Lodge where it is currently located. PV #61 had a strong membership and was noted for excellence in Masonic Ritual. This Lodge successfully operated a active lodge for 34 years when it merged with Silver Trowel in 2000.
In 2000, the two Lodges successfully merged and combined the names Paradise Valley Silver Trowel and elected to keep the lodge number of 29. Paradise Valley Silver Trowel now maintains a membership of 325 Masons in the former Paradise Valley #61 location.
The Lodge remains committed to it’s members through it many programs such as the Brother to Brother and Friend to Friend programs as well as fellowship. PVST also is committed to the community in which it serves. The Public Schools Committee runs several programs in cooperation with local schools as well as assistance to the Crisis Nursery.
